The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is Scotland's national conservatoire and enjoys facilities
which are amongst the best in Europe. As well as five professional standard venues, we have
state of the art dance studios, rehearsal and meeting rooms available for hire.
We provide a dedicated event service to clients who are looking to book a range of
events from conferences, meetings and workshops to concerts, master classes, movement and music
rehearsal facilities.

Recording Studio
The studio consists of a 70 square meter live room, a vocal booth and a separate control room.
All rooms are linked via video and talkback, and the studio has a full size Steinway concert grand
piano. The control room is equipped with a ProTools HD Accel 2 and a D-Command desk, with
Microphones by Neumann, AEA, AKG, Schoeps, B&K and many others. Mic pre’s are by Neve,
DACS, DAV, AEA & LA Audio. Reverbs are by Lexicon and TC Electronic, and many plugins
are available including Autotune and Melodyne. The in-house engineer has many years experience,
having previously worked at EMI Abbey Road Studios and Sony Music Studios, London.

Stage Management
Our stage management department can provide technical equipment and expertise to enhance your
event.
Our events manager will be able to arrange meetings with the stage management team and advise
on the costing of these during the planning stage of your event.
Box Office
Our box office can provide a ticket management service on your behalf. We have a
convenient onsite location and tickets are available to purchase in person via the telephone or
online. Alternatively we can provide tickets for clients to manage their own ticket
allocation. Costs available on request.
Availability
During the academic year availability is restricted to evenings and weekends however during
the spring vacation and from July through until the end of September annually there are a full
range of facilities available for hire.
Hospitality
Our onsite catering contractor Where the Monkey Sleeps can cater for a wide range for
requirements from a buffet lunch to a champagne reception. Prices and menus on
application.
