Information for the Media

Our Media Relations Department is the main point of contact for journalists and you should direct all enquiries to the press office in the first instance. Our press team provides the media with official comment, news releases and briefings about the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the activities of the many departments, events, staff and students.

We maintain an experts directory and provide the media with contacts for academics who are willing to comment on their area of expertise. Permission to interview staff, film or shoot on Royal Conservatoire campus grounds must be sought in advance. We have an extensive range of superb performance and production shots. Requests for stock photos of the Royal Conservatoire and its productions – both present and historic – can also be made here.

We organise news conferences, photo opportunities and press briefings. If you are a journalist and would like to arrange a media visit to the Royal Conservatoire our team will be happy to arrange this for you.
