Emerging Artist Repiteur Scheme Auditions
Auditions will be held on the morning of
28 May 2013 for the Scottish Opera/Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Emerging Artist
Repetiteur Scheme.
There will be a salary in the region of £13,000 which will enable the successful
applicant to be, in effect, an ‘apprentice member’ of our Scottish Opera music staff, while
receiving mentoring from senior staff from both Scottish Opera and the Royal Conservatoire of
Scotland. They will, however, be seconded to the RCS for involvement in one of their opera
productions during the year.

Opera graduate Michel de Souza has won a place on the prestigious Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. The programme attracts young artists from around the world who become full-time company members for up to two years at the Royal Opera.
After graduating from the Alexander Gibson Opera School a year ago, Michel
became an Emerging Artist as part of our unique partnership with Scottish Opera. We wish Michel
