Entry to the Creative Industries
Entry to the Creative Industries (Production and Performance) is run by the
Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on behalf of
FOCUS
West and offers tailored support to S5 and S6 pupils who are interested in progressing in the
performing or production arts.
This programme will work with pupils from the 30
FOCUS
West schools with an interest in progressing to college, university or higher education
institutions.
Specific interests in courses relating to the performing arts industries
- including music, drama, dance, film, television, technical and production arts e.g. costume,
sound, light or set design, and stage management - will be supported through their
participation with this project.
Royal Conservatoire staff, in consultation with partner colleges, universities and
students will engage with all FOCUS West secondary schools to deliver the activity described on
these pages.
