Our growing Production programme includes options for young people of secondary school age to
gain new skills and develop an understanding of the world of film and television.
WEEKLY CLASSES - ELECTIVE OPTION
We currently run a
Production Arts elective
option for our Secondary 1 - 6 students who come to our
Weekly Classes on a Saturday. This
class takes place every weekend throughout the academic year and develops understanding of
technical production and its use in theatre and performance contexts
PORTFOLIO PREPARATION COURSE
We run a
Portfolio Preparation course for
young people aged 17+ . This course took place in November-December 2012 and is to be
scheduled to run again in autumn 2013. Please contact us to register your interest in the future
presentation of this popular course.
PRODUCTION SUMMER SCHOOL 2013
Our Production Summer School for young people in 2013 will be:
Stage Production (13-17 years)
22 July - 2 August 2013 (10 days)
Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm
£450
This 10-day intensive summer school is for young people aged 13–17 who are
interested in developing skills in stage management and technology.
This summer school is especially beneficial to those with an interest in production, theatre
and art who are looking to gain knowledge and experience in various production elements and
collaborate with others. Covering a number of production specialisms, this course will provide
students with a taste of each, allowing them to identify their own areas of interest along the
way.
