Screen Courses for Young People at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
Our growing Screen programme includes options for young people of secondary school age to gain new
skills and develop an understanding of the world of film and television.
We currently run a Film and Performance elective option for our Secondary 1 - 6 students who come to our Weekly Classes on a Saturday. This class takes place every weekend throughout the academic year and develops skills in performing to camera, and filming and editing techniques.
For a short intensive experience in Screen related activities we offer the following courses:
- Making Short Films (10-Week Evening Class) / 11 Januray - 14 March 2012
- First Steps in Screenwriting (Specialist Skills Weekend) / 11 - 12 February 2012
- The Remake (Film and Performance Summer School) / 16 - 20 July 2012
