Liberty House
As a new student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland you will be eligible to apply for accommodation at Liberty House, just ten to fifteen minutes walk away and next to the lively Merchant City area, awash with cafes and restuarants. Liberty offers a comfortable and safe environment and welcomes students not just from the Conservatoire but also from the other two universities nearby so it's a great way to get to know people and make friends quickly. As a student at Liberty House you will benefit from excellent local amenities right on your doorstep. Rail stations, connecting Glasgow to all points within the UK, are only a few minutes walk away.
Liberty House offers 167 single and 5 double study bedrooms plus 9 studio apartments. All rooms/apartments are fully fitted to a high standard and include an en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin plus data points for high-speed Internet access. Single and double study bedrooms share a fully fitted kitchen area - studio apartments are self-contained.
The accommodation is arranged in 9 bed flats.
On-site facilities
Liberty House is fully staffed with an on-site management and maintenance team. 24-hour
security is provided including a comprehensive CCTV system monitoring the site, electronic entry
systems to get in and out of the residence plus a manned reception area 24-hours a day for maximum
security. The residence also provides an on-site laundry facility.
