Erasmus and Exchanges
How to apply to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on Erasmus
If you’ve decided you’d like to spend some time studying with us you need to check with your International Office/Erasmus Coordinator to see if there is an Erasmus partnership agreement* in place between your institution and the Royal Conservatoire. If your institution is one of our partners and is able to agree to you applying for an Erasmus exchange during the forthcoming academic year, please submit the following documents to the Erasmus Coordinator in your home institution. He/she will then forward your application to the International and Student Experience team at the Royal Conservatoire.
-
Transcript of records from previous years' study
-
CD or DVD recording documenting performances
-
Letter of motivation or CV
It is essential that you, your teacher, Head of Department and Erasmus Coordinator all sign and stamp both your application form and Learning Agreement as your application cannot be processed without these signatures.
Your Erasmus Coordinator must send your application and supporting documents to the Royal Conservatoire's International and Student Experience team by 31 st March in the academic year prior to the year in which you wish to study. Due to the high number of applications, we regret that we are unable to accept applications received after this deadline. We will confirm receipt of your documents by email to your Erasmus Coordinator. Once a decision has been made, we will contact your Coordinator with the outcome of your application and any relevant documentation, as soon as possible.
*please note that we cannot accept Erasmus applications from students at institutions with whom we are not in partnership
