Fees & Scholarships
For all students
We are able to offer a number of entrance scholarships which are awarded as part of the audition/selection process on the basis of merit. You do not need to apply for scholarships as we consider all applicants.
For Masters Students from Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde
Renfrewshire Educational Trust makes an award of £3400 each year to a student undertaking a one-year Taught Masters programme. Applicants must have had permanent residency in the Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire or Inverclyde local authority areas for a consecutive period of at least three years in the last ten years. For students from Canada, China, India and the USA
Scotland's Saltire Scholarships
If you are a citizen of Canada, China, India or USA and have a conditional offer
for a full-time, Undergraduate, Masters or PhD course at the Royal Conservatoire of
Scotland you may be eligible for an award of £2000 to put towards your tuition fees.

before you apply. Please also note that awards are not available if you have
already completed your undergraduate studies in Scotland.
What does the scholarship cover?
The programme offers awards of £2,000 each to put towards tuition fees on a full-time
undergraduate, Masters or PhD course at one of 18 institutions in Scotland, including the
Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Up to 200 awards are made over the 18 participating higher
education institutions.

The Australian Music Foundation
If you from Australia and are applying for postgraduate study in music, you may be
considered for an award from the Australian Music Foundation. Over 90 awards have been made to
young musicians over a 30 year history. Further information can be found on their website
