We believe we are elite in the excellence of our training, but we also believe there is no barrier to talent. Wherever you are in the world, if you feel you have the necessary talent, dedication and ambition, we encourage you to apply.
 
We hold auditions here in Glasgow as well as a number of locations around the world. Wherever possible we recommend you try and meet with our students and staff and if possible, visit the Royal Conservatoire itself. But if this isn't possible then we do accept applications by DVD. BA Acting and BA Musical Theatre - Applications are now closed for entry in 2013.  Applications for entry in 2014 will open online on CUKAS in July 2013.

* RUK = rest of UK, e.g. England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Applicants from Scotland other European Union countries apply for a restricted number of Government funded ‘Scottish/EU’ fee places. Those applicants who do not qualify for the ‘Scottish/EU’ fee status, apply for an unrestricted number of places but must pay the ‘overseas’ or ‘RUK’ fee.

If you are a Mature Student

We welcome applications from mature students, i.e. students over the age of 21 at entry to an undergraduate programme. The selection procedures will still be applied, but consideration will be given to musical and other experience not normally expected in school–leavers, which is deemed to compensate for any lack of traditional entrance qualifications. Successful mature applicants, as all other applicants, must convince auditioning panels that they have the ability and potential to cope with the demands of the programme. Their progress, especially in the early stages of the programme, will be closely monitored and appropriate advice and help given.

경력자 (비전공자) 지원

본교는 경력자들의 지원도 환영합니다. (학사학위를 지원하는 21세 이상의 학생) 경력자 선정을 위한 절차가 이루어지겠지만, 보통 졸업자들에게는 볼 수 없으나 입학을 위해 정석으로 요구되는 사항에 대해 부족한 점을 보강할 수 있을 만한 음악 또는 다른 분야에서의 경험은 심사 사항에 참작될 것입니다. 다른 지원자들과 같이 본교의 프로그램이 요구하는 사항을 충족할 수 있을 만한 재능과 잠재력이 있다는 점을 오디션 심사위원들에게 어필해야 할 것 입니다. 특히 수업의 초반 단계에서는 지원자들의 성장과정이 면밀히 검토될 것이고 그에 적합한 조언도 주어지게 될 것 입니다.
