School of Music Open Day 

Are you interested in finding out more about life in the Conservatoire?

If so, why not book a place on the School of Music open day taking place on Friday 15 June 2012.

The Open Day will offer you a chance to observe Music Performance Classes/Rehearsals, engage in dicussions with current students and staff and to explore the Conservatoire's facilities and student accommodation.

We recommend pre-booking using the link below, however you can still come along if you have not pre-booked. Parents are welcome to attend and are not required to register for this event.

If you  need hotel accommodation we have negotiated discounted rates with the Citizen M hotel and the Thistle Hotel. Quote Royal Conservatoire of Scotland when making your enquiry. Both hotels are next to our campus at Renfrew Street.

• Production and Screen - Friday 12 October 2012
• Drama Performance - Friday 19 October 2012
• Modern Ballet - Friday 9 November 2012

Registration for the Open days will open online one month in advance of the Open Day date.

Not able to attend an Open Day?

If for any reason you are unable to attend an Open Day we do offer short tours every Monday and Friday afternoon between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. These are led by our Student Guides and take approximately 45 minutes. Booking is essential. Although we know it is useful to speak to a member of staff or a student from your chosen area please be aware that this may not be possible due to our very busy timetable. To enquire about attending a tour email tours@rcs.ac.uk stating your chosen area of study, the year of entry and when you would like to attend. Tours normally cover our campus at Renfrew Street only. If you are interested in studying ballet, production arts (stage management, lighting, design, costume, props) and would like to see our campus at Speirs Locks, please indicate this on your email.
