Open Days
Without question, the best way to understand what life is like as a student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, is to attend one of our Open Days where you will be able to meet students and staff and take part in relevant workshops.
Book on a Monday or Friday afternoon tour and catch a concert at the same time
However, if you can't make one of our Open Days, then the next best thing is to come on one of our tours for prospective students. We run these every Monday and Friday afternoon, between 2.30 and 4.30pm (with the exception of some vacation weeks). Usually there will be a lunchtime concert, between 1pm & 2pm on these days which is a great way to see the standard of performance at the Royal Conservatoire. We may be able to provide you with two complementary tickets for the concert if you would like to attend. To find out what's on, visit www.rcs.ac.uk/boxoffice
Tours by students for students
The best people to tell you what life is like at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland are our students, so we make sure that all our tours are led by them. Tours last around 45 minutes and booking is essential. Tours usually cover our Renfrew Street campus but if you are interested in applying for Modern Ballet, or Production (Stage management, lighting, costume, props, scenic art) which are housed in our Speirs Locks campus, do let us know.
To book a tour email us at tours@rcs.ac.uk
Please give your name, address, year of entry, where you are currently studying and the subject you are interested in.
We know that many prospective students like to meet with a member of staff when they are visiting. Due to our very busy schedules this is frequently not possible, but we will try our best to accommodate your request.
If it is not possible for you to visit on a Monday or Friday then we may be able to arrange an alternative time, however please be aware this will be dependent on the time of year and how busy we are.
