We have put together a Student Handbook that will hopefully cover any questions you may have when applying or attending our classes and courses.

What to expect from us
We care passionately that we give you the practical, emotional and learning support you need while you are studying with us at the Conservatoire.
As well as the learning and teaching, technical, administrative and support services available at RCS you will find our whole community of staff and students, as well as our city, welcoming and friendly.
We welcome students with additional support needs and value diversity and multiple perspectives in all that we are and all that we do. The Conservatoire is a very special place and one where we are sure you will flourish and feel supported throughout your time and study with us.
We also prioritise the health and safety of all our students. You can read the RCS child protection and adults at risk of harm, whistle-blowing, dignity at work and study and best practice in learning and teaching policies here.
We are confident that you will find the RCS an inclusive and encouraging place to learn and grow as a person, as an artist and a socially-engaged practitioner.
