Mental Health Disability Symposium
Supporting Student Transitions and Training
Wednesday 10 May 2017, 10.00 for 10.30 – 16.00
The Studio Glasgow, 67 Hope Street, G2 6AE
In 2015, the RCS embarked on an 18 month research study to explore the prevalence of mental health disabilities (MHD) amongst its student body and to understand better the impact it has for both students and the staff teaching them.
Mental Health is a growing issue within HEIs and we are delighted to announce the RCS Mental Health Disability Symposium will take place on the 10 May 2017.
The symposium offers an opportunity for HEIs and conservatoires throughout the UK to come together and share key findings, identify gaps, and inform future theory and practice in supporting transitions for students with MHD for the duration of their studies and beyond.
To register for the symposium please complete the on-line registration form here.
