Concepts of Value and Worth: National and International Perspectives on Widening Access and Participation
The Glasgow School of Art and the Royal Conservatoire are delighted to host the 2017 Forum for Access and Continuing Education (FACE) conference in Glasgow, Scotland.
The warmest of Glasgow welcomes awaits national and international delegates who join us to explore current research and practice in widening access, equality, diversity and inclusion.
These small and specialist creative institutions combine to offer a platform for FACE members, non-members and students to share in knowledge exchange sessions and workshops, with plenty of opportunity to network, socialise and be entertained with like-minded colleagues in an inspiring and unusual conference setting.
The 2017 conference will be framed around the themes of:
- Reaching out
- Reaching in
- Reaching over
- Reaching up!
FACE 2017 Call for Papers Now Closed
Established in 1993, FACE is a UK-wide network for those involved and concerned with access, continuing education and lifelong learning. As a multi-sector network, FACE and its members are at the forefront of the challenges involved in providing lifelong learning opportunities. The annual conference is an opportunity for national and international practitioners, researchers and policy makers to come together to discuss the latest issues.
The call for papers is now closed. We have had a high level of submissions and are currently completing the review process.
If you have submitted a proposal, we should be in touch with you again shortly.
