Discover for yourself the unique atmosphere of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
A lot of people tell us that there is a real buzz of energy at the Royal Conservatoire. The best way to experience that for yourself is to pay us a visit.
If you are thinking about studying here
If you are considering studying here then we strongly recommend you come to visit us. There are a few ways to do this, the first of which is attending one of our open days. During each of our open days we offer specialist workshops in each discipline, which are designed to give you a real insight into what studying here full-time would be like. You will also have the chance to see a performance, attend information sessions, and meet staff and students. Details on our open days can be found here.
If you want to find out more about our Lifelong Learning courses for adults and young people
We run a wide range of courses over weekends, evenings and in the holiday periods. To find out more about the courses on offer please see rcs.ac.uk/lifelong-learning.
If you are interested in learning more about the Junior Conservatoire
The Junior Conservatoire offers specialist and advanced training for committed and talented young people in dance, drama, music, production and screen, led by our patron Nicola Benedetti. To find out about the programmes on offer in our Junior Conservatoire, please visit rcs.ac.uk/junior-conservatoire.
If you can’t make an open day
We run guided tours twice a week which are a unique way to see behind the scenes at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Our tours run most Mondays at 2pm, and most Fridays at 10am. Tours are led by our Student Recruitment team, and are a great way to see our facilities and get a feel for the buzz of the Conservatoire.
To book a tour, please submit your details in our Book A Tour form, and a member of our team will be in touch shortly. It would be much appreciated if you could give us at least two weeks’ notice of your preferred tour date, so we can ensure a member of staff is available to meet with you. If your travel arrangements don’t allow for a tour during these days, or if you are arranging a tour for five or more people, please get in touch with us directly at email@example.com.
We know that many prospective students like to meet with a member of staff when they are visiting. Due to very busy schedules of staff members this is frequently not possible, but we will try our very best to accommodate your request.
