Shakespeare Workshop: Henry V

Shakespeare workshops are offered by Widening Access to the Creative Industries in collaboration with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s MA Classical and Contemporary Text (MACCT) programme. FOCUS West schools will be offered the opportunity to attend a workshop with the Assistant Director followed by a performance by the MACCT students. This opportunity will help participants foster an interest in the play and equip pupils with the skills to discuss Shakespeare.

The True Chronicle History of Henry V, with his Battle, Fought at Agincourt in France, as it hath been Sundry Times Played by the Right Honourable Lord Chamberlain his Men By William Shakespeare

  • Workshop 12pm or 1pm
  • Performance 2.30pm
  • £5.00 per ticket

Staged in the style of a ceilidh play, this production shares its story and song as it watches a man transcend the instinct for conquest and instead become a unifying force in the world. A BSL interpreted performance. Suitable for S1-S6. Please note: If attending the 12pm workshop, there will be a 1.5hr wait before the performance.
