HATCH. SPILL. COMBINE. REPEAT.
Inspired by Boccaccio’s 14th Century Decameron, our work is a sharing of content between people sheltering from a plague. Unlike the book, however, our chronicles are not consciously crafted tales but glowing, gelatinous creatures; rising from the lightless depth of our collective unconscious, fading back into darkness like unremembered dreams.
Socially distant throughout, we still got under each other’s skin – fluid, fragmented selves melding in radical, boundless becoming; distant bodies birthing lockdown visions, dancing psychedelic dances of rhythmic synchronicity; facing surrealities beyond the COVID house arrest.
Come, and enter our flow. Move. Be moved. See.
Visit a place where archetypes bathe in the primordial yolk of myth. Where your vision blurs to see into our collective unconscious. Submerse in an audio-visual dreamscape for the next thirty-five minutes and encounter our Cubic Egg installation. In a cosy corner, tablet computers invite you to explore our wider journey via our blog.
Don’t be afraid of the dark. Don’t be afraid of the heat. Hatch. Spill. Combine. Repeat.
Content warning: This work contains nudity and loud noises
