The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s BA Acting programme presents On The Verge: three scratch nights of new writing created by second year students, taking place on three evenings from 11-13 May.
Uniquely on Thursday 12 May, join us at The Old Hairdressers to see one-off performances of some of the freshest writing in Glasgow, with an evening of promenade theatre between The Old Hairdressers and Stereo.* Don’t miss this playful exploration of form and storytelling.
On The Verge is an annual showcase and the culmination of our students’ exploration of new approaches to theatre making and writing, providing actors with the tools and resilience that will see them throughout their careers as creative artists.
Come and be a part of the students’ exploration of socio-politically fuelled work, in an intimate storytelling setting.
The producer of On The Verge is Colleen Cameron.
Please note:
Each evening contains some work that may contain offensive language, mild references to stalking, mild references to violence, references to far-right ideology, mild sexual references, mild references of depression, references to drug-use.
Exact trigger warnings for each piece on each evening will be provided in a programme of work every night.
