Experience the excitement of the solo recital rounds at the 2023 Scottish International Piano Competition, hosted by the conservatoire. The competition attracts many of the world’s brilliant young concert pianists to Scotland, enabling them to gain recognition at an early stage in their careers. Recent participants including Can Çakmur, Jonathan Fournel, Pavel Kolesnikov, and Tom Poster have gone on to enjoy major international careers following their success in the competition. Follow the events here through to the semi-finals, ahead of three chosen pianists’ performances with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in the concerto final.
