We’re very excited to welcome audiences back to RCS

RCS is performance!  RCS staff and student are delighted to welcome audiences back to our venues.  We are now able to begin scheduling public performances again.

We are working hard to keep our staff, students and audiences safe.  There are a few things which will be a little different.  Please read through the information below if you are booking for one of our public performances.  If you have any further question please do get in touch.

Do I need to wear a face mask?

No, we no longer require audience members to wear face masks.  Those who wish to wear a mask are still welcome to.

Do I need a COVID passport?

No.  Under current Scottish Government guidance we are not required to check COVID passports for our audiences.

We no longer required audiences to show proof of a negative lateral flow test when entering the building.

Do I need to carry out a Lateral Flow test?

No, we no longer required audiences to show proof of a negative lateral flow test when entering the building.

How can I find out what is on?

You can view our events guide from the menu on the Box Office hone page.  All public events are listed on the RCS Box Office website.  We’d recommend that you also join our mailing list to be kept up to date on events or changes to the performance schedule.

Is the Box Office open again?

Yes, we are open for online, in person and telephone sales (0141 332 5057) Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.   The Box Office will also be open 60 mins prior to the start of performances.

Please note the Box Office is now cashless.  Payment is by card/contactless.

How will I receive my tickets?

We are asking all customers to use e-tickets/Print at home.  This reduces contact points to help keep customers and staff safe.  Tickets can also be posted.

Your e-ticket can be shown on your phone to be scanned at the door to the venue, or can be printed at home.

Is the Cafe Bar open?

Yes, the café bar is now open to public.

I booked a ticket but have received a positive COVID test. Can I get a refund?

Yes, we will be happy to exchange or refund your ticket should you receive a positive COVID test.  Please get in touch with the Box Office in advance of the performance (we aren’t able to process refunds/exchanges after the performance).

What are RCS doing to keep audiences safe?

Keeping our staff, students and audience members safe is a top priority.  We have put in place some additional measures to help with this:-

  • Doors the the venue will open earlier to avoid queues forming.
  • The venue is being cleaned before and after each performance.
  • Hand sanitiser is available throughout the building.
  • We have reduced the audience capacity for our venues.

We would kindly ask audiences to leave the building immediately after the performance.
