Lauren Murison

Stage Manager

Lauren is a Stage Manager based in Glasgow. She is a final year student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. During her time at the conservatoire, she has developed a passion all kinds of performance. She was recently the Production Manager on Bucket of Sunshine, a play written by students and produced by Good Apple Productions, which she co-founded in 2020.

Anne Peart

Deputy Stage Manager

Anne Peart is a stage manager from Dundee with a passion for contemporary plays, opera and community theatre. She enjoys bringing people together and creative problem solving.

Ewan Fraser

Production Electrician

Ewan is a Scottish based lighting technician who has worked in this industry from a young age. He specialises in Production Electrics and Programming but has worked across all areas of lighting professionally. Before coming to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Ewan worked professionally as a lighting and sound technician before deciding to continue his education. Ewan mainly works in Scotland but is branching out to work across the UK.

Emma Palmer

Head Scenic Artist

Emma is a third-year scenic art student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the head scenic artist for this production of Children of Eden. She worked for G1 Scenery in the summer.

Sam Mackie

Lead Propmaker

Sam Mackie is a UK based Prop Maker in their final year at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. They have been involved in theatre from a young age with their local youth theatre before discovering the joys of working backstage. They have a passion for all things theatre and just love to be making props and working as an ASM backstage.

Eva Barrett Mansfield

Assistant Props Lead

Eva Barrett Mansfield is a Scottish second year student, loving studying prop construction in Glasgow with a minor subject in scenic art. She will graduate from this course (Production Arts and Design) in June 2024. She is interested in working in the film and TV industry as well as collaborating on artist instillations.

Angerlique van Rooyen

Propmaker

Angelique is a South African production artist specializing in prop construction and restoration at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Prior to her time at the RCS she studied Entertainment Technology at the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, SA where she was awarded the Chancellor’s award for Outstanding Performance in the Arts.

Some of her credits include Le’Noz, In Transit, Bare: The Musical (2018-2019 Breytenbach Theatre), Strings (2019 Shot Film), TUT Spring Festival (2018-2020 Arts Festival), Cinderella, Hansel & Gretel, Sweeney Todd, A Very Expensive Poison, Merrily We Roll Along, L’Etoile, Russian Double Bill (2020-2023 New Athenian Theatre), Taking Over The Asylum, Faustus: That Damned Woman (2022 The Chandler Theatre), and more. Angelique hopes to continue her career in the UK after graduation.

 

Tom Sedgwick

Head of Stage

Tom Sedgwick is a Scottish based Technician. His theatrical experience ranges across Scottish based touring including companies such as Scottish Opera and Opera Bohemia. As a final year Stage Technology student of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, he is keen to grow his experience and share his passion for the arts with the industry.

Scotty Scott

Head of Flys + Automation 

Scotty is a Stage and Automation technician working across the UK, with a particular interest in large-scale touring. Scotty enjoys realising the technical aspects of theatrical designs, from drafting ground plans and leading the fit up to the satisfaction of opening night. In the future, they hope to lead the opening of a West End production. Through RCS and external work, Scotty has gained experience in both counterweight flying and multiple types of automation systems.

2nd year Costume Construction student with an interest in Theatre making and dancewear.

Mairi is currently a 2nd Year student, she has previously worked as a maker and dresser on a number of RCS’s productions. Mairi was Costume supervisor on The Nest and looks forward to working on more film and theatre projects.

Costume Maker

2nd year costume construction student who has made costumes for a dressed several previous RCS productions, including Merrily We Roll Along, Sweeney Todd and the Russian Double Bill Opera.
