Regular Covid Testing now available to RCS staff and students

Recognising that access to regular Covid testing can be reassuring for members of our community, we’re pleased to let you know that a regular asymptomatic Covid testing facility is now available to RCS students and staff on the GCU campus.

This service is open Tuesday and Friday between 9.30am and 1.30pm, is free to use for all students and staff and is bookable via this link.

The GCU testing facility will continue to offer lateral flow testing, as it has done since it began operations last year. We’re very grateful to our GCU colleagues for making this service available to us.

It’s important to note that these tests:

  • Are confidential
  • Are not compulsory
  • Are there to offer reassurance to people displaying no Covid symptoms

From Monday, lateral flow home test kits will also available to anyone in the wider population who does not have COVID-19 symptoms. These can be picked up from local walk/drive-through test sites for people to test themselves twice-weekly..
