Train with Professionals

Guest artists often come in to RCS to teach repertoire, deliver workshops and talk about life as a dancer.

Guest teachers/choreographers include Glauco Di Lieto (repertoire and pas de deux), John McFall and Bethany Kingsley-Garner (ballet and choreographer), Aya Kobayashi (contemporary) and Sophie Martin (repertoire and ballet).

Read our blog post on when Paul Liburd MBE, world-respected dancer and choreographer, visited our students.

The Professional Graduate Diploma in Modern Ballet

In partnership with Scottish Ballet, alongside our BA in Modern Ballet, we also offer a one-year professional graduate qualification to dancers who wish to further develop their training and ‘bridge the gap’ to the profession.

Piano for Dance

The MMus Piano for Dance programme, delivered in partnership with Scottish Ballet, offers a unique mix of professional tutelage and practical application, aimed at supporting the needs of each individual piano student. Dancers benefit from live musicians as it helps them develop their musicality and artistry.

We want you to enjoy the audition process and use the opportunity to discover more about RCS and to see if it is the right place for you.
