Train with Professionals

Guest Artists often come in to RCS to teach repertoire, deliver workshops and talks about life as a dancer.

Guest teachers/choreographers include Glauco Di Lieto (repertoire and pas de deux), John McFall (ballet and choreographer), Aya Kobayashi (contemporary) and Sophie Martin (repertoire and ballet).

Read our blog post on when Paul Liburd MBE, world-respected dancer and choreographer, visited our students.

We want you to enjoy the audition process and use the opportunity to discover more about RCS and to see if it is the right place for you.

Watch as Head of Modern Ballet, Kerry Livingstone explains the audition process.

Student Accommodation

Just three minutes’ walk from the Renfrew Street campus, Base Glasgow is the new student accommodation designed and built specifically for performing arts students.

Like Nowhere Else

More than 1200 students from 60 countries study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Meet Daisy, one of the cast from our prospectus front cover shoot, and find out why RCS is a place like nowhere else.

Admissions, International and Student Support Session

We would usually have this session in person but for today we have recorded this session with staff from across our Admissions and Student Recruitment department to talk through entrance requirements, fees and funding and student support. We hope this is useful and please contact us at if you have any further questions.

Piano for Dance

The MMus Piano for Dance programme, delivered in partnership with Scottish Ballet, offers a unique mix of professional tutelage and practical application, aimed at supporting the needs of each individual piano student. Dancers benefit from live musicians as it helps them develop their musicality and artistry.

Watch PfD Coordinator, Edward Cohen, introduce the MMus Piano for Dance programme.
