The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is the No.1 higher education institution in Scotland for graduate employment. We’re committed to providing our students with the right tools to allow them to succeed in their choose industries.
As a result, our RCS graduates work across the globe, in national orchestras, in ballet and production companies, in classrooms, universities and conservatoires and on stages and screen. As an institution with 170 years of experience teaching the performing arts, we have thousands of alumni who have made an impact on the world through their art.
Some of our alumni include the actors James McAvoy, Alan Cumming, David Tennant, Katie Leung and Sam Heughan, composers Patrick Doyle, Jay Capperauld and C Duncan, the filmmaker Paul Wright and screenwriter Krysty Wilson-Cairns, as well as musicians Sean Shibe, Karen Cargill, Lisa Milne, Jamie MacDougall and Christopher Gough.
It is impossible to list all of our alumni and their many successes. Please use the Alumni Finder to search through alumni from different art disciplines.
