Second Star on the Right (Musical Theatre for ages 5 - 7)

Summer School for Children

Introduction

…and straight on ‘til morning!

There you’ll find Neverland, a place of wonder where dreams are born and time is never planned!

This summer, learn how to fly and discover the land of Never. There are many places to explore… Mermaid Lagoon, Crocodile Creek and the Never-Forest, with many curious characters to meet along the way. See the fairies, fight the pirates and work with the Lost Boys to save the day and restore Neverland back to its best! After all, all you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust.

Led by experienced teaching artists, this week-long musical theatre summer school inspired by J.M Barrie’s Peter Pan will use singing, dancing and drama to explore exciting worlds and find creative solutions.

Throughout the course children will:

  • Develop personal confidence and creative decision making skills
  • Be introduced to performance skills including acting, singing and dancing
  • Make new friends and work collaboratively in a group
  • Work towards creating an original performance using their own ideas

Throughout the week, the children will work towards a short, informal sharing which takes place in one of the Royal Conservatoire’s venues on the last afternoon of the course.

The deadline for booking this course is Friday 8 June 2018 at 12pm.
