Course outline

This summer school will be delivered by the Royal Conservatoire’s BA Production Technology and Management lecturers and visiting guest specialists. You will experience working in both a studio theatre setting as well as in a traditional proscenium arch theatre.

The first week of the summer school will consist of practical workshops and teaching in all areas of management and technology, including lighting and sound for performance. You will work on mini- projects throughout the week to apply your new knowledge in a practical and meaningful way.

The second week involves working together with the Musical Theatre: Live Production summer school on a semi-produced collaborative project. This is an opportunity for you to practice your specialist learning and knowledge as a team and in a more holistic and authentic way.
