Hello! We’re delighted to be showcasing here our extraordinary MA/MFA Acting/Directing Classical Contemporary Text cohort of 2023 and 2024.

During this year’s programme, these students have been and will be involved in a variety of performances: Measure for Measure (as part of their residency at Shakespeare’s Globe), The Summoning of Everyman and The Taming of the Shrew (RCS), original digital work (On the Verge Festival) and, later this year three contemporary productions directed by the directing students: Incognito by Nick Payne, Consent by Nina Raine and The After Dinner Joke by Caryl Churchill.

Those on the MFA pathway will then create further original work in early 2024 as part of Emergence Festival here at RCS. During their studies, the students have worked with a variety of professional organizations. Beyond this (as you will see), they have performed and/or directed in a variety of other professional contexts. I hope you find these materials useful.
