Short Courses Shortlisted for Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards

RCS, via our Short Courses department, has been shortlisted as a candidate for the Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards 2016; along with our partners Solar Bear, we have been nominated in the category of Sustained Partnership. Our trail-blazing pre-HE initiative has helped aspiring actors who are deaf and hard of hearing build skills and knowledge to prepare for audition for our bespoke degree which commenced in September 2015.

The award ceremony will be held in Edinburgh on Thursday 25 February. The awards are designed to reward and celebrate the progress made through commercial and academic partnerships. Promoting the benefits of academic collaboration with the overall aim of stimulating further business demand and further positioning Scotland as a pro-active nation.
