Bio:

Alexandra McKenna is a Scottish Stage Manager based in Edinburgh. Prior to studying at RCS, Alexandra studied HND Technical Theatre and Production Arts at PASS, Edinburgh College.

Outside of university, she has experience on a number of professional and volunteer productions, most recently completing a Stage Management placement with Vanishing Point.

Alexandra values the collaborative nature of productions and is looking forward to putting her organisational and management skills to use in a wide variety of roles.

Skills:

• SCQF Level 5 Leadership Award
• British Sign Language (Foundation Level)
• Pyrotechnics Safety Awareness Course (Just FX)
• Basic theatrical combat training
• Prop sourcing, prop making to a stage management level (Painting, Crafting, Sewing, Graphic Design)
• Intermediate sewing skills (use of sewing machines, hand stitching, and alterations)
• Experienced in score reading
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Proficient in Lighting rigging and focussing
• Proficient in the creation and operation of Qlab
