Bio:

Claire was born in Adelaide, Australia. She began dancing from the age of 4 at her local dance studio, Panache Dance Studio and trained more intensely in vocational fulltime training at Terry Simpson Dance Studios, age 15. She trained in both Cecchetti and Royal Academy of Dance syllabuses to complete all her examinations up to advanced 2 by age 16.

In 2019, Claire successfully auditioned for the BA Modern Ballet course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Since joining the course, Claire has participated in the Margot Fonteyn International Competition, attended International Masterclasses in Prague Summer Intensive, performed at difference events, worked with several different choreographers and dance masters/mistresses.

The RCS partnership with Scottish Ballet, enabled Claire in her final year to perform and tour with Scottish Ballet for their Nutcracker Winter Tour of 2021/2022.

Claire is grateful for the peers and friends she has created throughout the years of the course. She is continually working towards a career in classical ballet and exploring neo-classical works.
