Emmeline Bywater, born in Colorado, began her dancing journey after moving to Oxfordshire, England, where she attended the Jill Stew School of Dance. There she studied ballet along with modern, tap, musical theatre, and drama.
In 2014 she auditioned for the Royal Ballet School’s Associate Programme in Covent Garden, London, where she trained for six years. To further her training she attended the Royal Ballet School Spring Intensive in 2018 and performed with the National Youth Ballet in new works by Matt Nicholson and Richard Bermange the following year.
In 2020 Emmeline was honoured to begin vocational training on the BA Modern Ballet course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. During this time she had the privilege of working with leading choreographers such as John McFall, Julian Moss and Andrew McNicol.
Following graduation, Emmeline is delighted to be returning to Colorado to join Canyon Concert Ballet 2 for their 2023-24 season.
