Student Information

Bio:

Georgie was born in Rural Harrogate, North Yorkshire where she discovered her love for dance at Chatsworth Dance Centre. At the age of 9, Georgie joined the Elmhurst associate programme before then going on to audition and successfully gain a place at Elmhurst Ballet School at the age of 11. Georgie studied there in full time training for 5 years and her love for all styles of dance such as Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary continued to flourish. From her 5 years there, Georgie had many opportunities to perform regularly and be coached by experienced professionals.

Georgie then went on to audition and gain a place on the BA Modern Ballet Course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Having trained there for 3 years now, Georgie has had the opportunity to be taught by the incredible lecturers at RCS to help further refine her technique as well as also gain vital knowledge and understanding about the profession. She has also had many opportunities to work with and perform pieces by established choreographers such as John McFall and Sophie Laplane which she feels very grateful for.

Georgie is now looking forward to continuing her training by doing a post graduate programme and gaining professional experience and hopes to go on to join a company in the future.
