Hamish was born in Stirling, Scotland. He began his dance training at the age of 13. He trained on the Scottish Ballet Associate Program as well as RCS Junior Conservatoire before embarking on his vocational training and gaining a BA in Modern Ballet at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in July 2023.
During his studies, Hamish was given the opportunity to perform with Scottish Ballet on their Tour and World Premiere of Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s ballet, “The Scandal at Mayerling”. He has also been privileged to work with choreographers John McFall, Andrew McNicol and Julian Moss during his training.
Hamish attended summer programs at the Royal Ballet School and the International Ballet Masterclasses in Prague where he was taught by the likes of Denys Cherevychko, Valentino Zuchetti and Alexander Campbell.
Upon graduating, Hamish will be moving to Colorado to join Canyon Concert Ballet as an Artist for the 2023/2024 season.
