Joshua Winter-Wright started his ballet training at his local dance school in the village where he grew up. He then joined both the Scottish Ballet Associate Program and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Junior Conservatoire program for both ballet and contemporary dance. He then successfully auditioned for his place at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s BA Modern Ballet programme.
Joshua has gained valuable training and experiences while being at the Conservatoire, such as going on an exchange to Amsterdam to create a new choreography, and multiple different performance opportunities.
His next step in his professional career is going to Barcelona to join Ballet de Barcelona as a trainee, where he hopes to further his development and gain more valuable experiences in order to further progress himself as both a dancer and an individual, and he hopes that he will have many opportunities in the future in the world of dance and performance.
