Student Information

Bio:

Katelyn Robbins was born in Oxfordshire, England and studied at Nicholson School of Dance under the tutelage of Annette Nicholson, former soloist with Birmingham Royal Ballet. During her time at Nicholson School of Dance, Katelyn had the opportunity to perform with Birmingham Royal Ballet at the Birmingham Hippodrome in their ‘Dreams’ productions of Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Katelyn also had the opportunity to further her training as an associate of the Royal Ballet School and as an Extended Young Dancer of Elmhurst Ballet School. She also attended the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for The Performing Arts and was a classical ballet scholar with BBO Dance before gaining a place on the Modern Ballet programme at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2020.

During her time at the conservatoire, Katelyn has been involved in a number of exciting projects, including a trip to Amsterdam to create a new dance work with John McFall. She is very grateful for the opportunities she has had throughout her three years at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is looking forward to performing in the Modern Ballet showcase in June.
