Oliver started dancing at age 9 at a local dance school in Essex, completely by chance. The church hall was swapped for a ballet studio at age 12 when he gained a place on the associate programme at Central School of Ballet in London where he remained for 4 years. In 2019, he became a student at the Masters of Ballet Academy in London.
Spending lockdown dancing over Zoom in his bedroom, he jumped at the chance to move to Glasgow and begin his training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2020.
Over a decade on from starting a 1hr class in that old church hall once a week, Oliver is graduating from this BA in Modern Ballet programme excited for the future.
