Tamsin Birch is a soprano on the Masters Opera course at the RCS under the tutelage of Wilma MacDougall where she is grateful recipient of the Brian Jamieson Opera Scholarship.
Before studying at the RCS, Tamsin was a scholar at the Royal Academy of Music studying with Nuccia Focile and Iain Ledingham.
She is extremely grateful for support from the Mario Lanza Trust, the Dartington Hall Trust and the Prain Family.
She has recently performed the roles of Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro), Poppea (L’Incoronazione di Poppea), Poppea (Agrippina) and Merab (Saul).
She is also looking forward to playing the role of Tina in RCS’s production of Flight in 2021.
