Graduation Ceremonies July 2017

The next Graduation Ceremony will be held on Tuesday 4 July 2017.

This is one of the most important days in the academic calendar. It is the day when our staff gather with our students and their families and friends to celebrate their academic achievement.

There will be three ceremonies on 4 July 2017 and will take place at 10.30 am; 2.00 pm and 4.30 pm. They take place in the Stevenson Hall within the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, 100 Renfrew Street, Glasgow, G2 3DB.

The following programmes will graduate at each ceremony:

10.30 am ceremony

  • BA Acting
  • BA Production Technology and Management
  • BA Production Arts and Design
  • Bachelor of Music (Traditional Music)
  • Bachelor of Music (Traditional Music – Piping)
  • PG Certificate in Learning and Teaching
  • PhD Degrees

2.00 pm ceremony

  • BA Modern Ballet
  • BA Musical Theatre
  • Bachelor of Education (Music)
  • Master of Music (all specialisms)

4.30 pm ceremony

  • Bachelor of Music (Performance )
  • Bachelor of Music (Jazz)
  • Bachelor of Music (Composition)
  • BA Contemporary Performance Practice
  • BA Digital Film and Television

Please note, all guests must be seated in the Stevenson Hall at least 15 minutes before the start time of the ceremony. Please leave sufficient time to travel and be seated.

All eligible graduands must register to graduate even if they do not intend on attending the ceremony. Registration packs have been issued to all graduands and registration will close on 26 May 2017.

Gown hire is available from Ede and Ravenscroft via their website which can be accessed here. Please ensure you hire your gown by 23 June 2017.

During our ceremony on 27 October 2016, we were delighted to welcome special guests, Patricia Hay and Lord Vallance of Tummel who were awarded Honorary degrees. Also welcomed was our newest Fellow, Cindy Sughre.
