Like Nowhere Else

RCS is the only conservatoire in Europe to teach all of the performing and production arts on the one campus, and there is a a distinctive buzz about working in an environment with so many creative artists. The Pajama Game: Fresh Looks

Read how Theatre Director and MA Classical and Contemporary Text graduate (2013), Becky Hope-Palmer led the BA Musical Theatre Class of 2021 through The Pajama Game under Covid-19 restrictions, delivering a fresh take on the show whilst still retaining all the 1950s Golden Age magic with the timeless story of capital vs labour at the heart of it.

BA Performance in British Sign Language and English

The only course of it’s kind in Europe, this course uses British Sign Language, English and visual language to teach artists how to make and perform work.

Want to get more experience in Performance?

We are running a series of FREE online courses in British Sign Language and Performance which will provide a great insight into how the BA Performance course works and what life is like as a student at RCS.

These sessions will focus on BSL as well as Skills classes including Devising, Acting and Movement. Applicants are recommended to attend one BSL Class and one Performance Class per week. These classes are designed for D/deaf and hard of hearing students.

Weekly classes are running now until March 2022 at the following times:

Performance Class

Wednesdays 6pm – 8pm GMT
OR Thursdays 10am – 12pm GMT
