We’re looking forward to warmly welcoming you to RCS. Whether it’s your first term here or you’re heading back to your studies, Welcome Home! To help you settle in these challenging times we have established a new Welcome Home Support Team who will be on hand to be a general source of support as you prepare to get stuck into RCS life.

To support public safety during the Covid-19 pandemic, new arrivals to Scotland, as well as people who normally live in Scotland who are returning from certain destinations, will be required to self-isolate or quarantine for 14 days on arrival, irrespective of their point of entry to the UK. There is official guidance as to which countries are subject to this, please check as this guidance is updated regularly.

Don’t worry if you think you may have to quarantine or have concerns about starting your studies at this time. The RCS Welcome Home Team is here to help in all sorts of ways from making sure you get safely settled in your accommodation, assisting you to get the food and supplies you need, to connecting you with your new community and being a friendly face to welcome you.

To make sure we know what kind of support you’d like, please help us by completing this short questionnaire. We’ll use this information to help match you with members of our Welcome Home Support Team and determine what kind of assistance you’d like from the team in your first few weeks of arriving in Glasgow. Your data will be kept securely, and deleted when no longer necessary. Your answers may also be used to assess your quarantine status and RCS building access requirements. We take your privacy very seriously and you can read our privacy notice.

If you have any questions, please contact us at welcomehome@rcs.ac.uk. We can’t wait to welcome you to your new home.
