Irina Vartopeanu

Student Information

Bio:

My name is Irina Vartopeanu. I come from Romania but I recently moved to Scotland to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on the BA Performance in BSL and English course.

I am fluent in four languages: English, British Sign Language (BSL), Romanian and Romanian Sign Language (LSR).  I’ve got many years of experience in the dance field.

At the moment, I’m rehearsing for the Showcase which will be coming soon. We will be showing a variety of dialogues and monologues. In May we will perform The Coat directed by Ramesh Meyyappan.  In the future I’m going to apply for funding to create my own devised performance; I’m also interested into acting and directing for both theatre and film.
