About Short Study and Audition Prep Courses

Short Study courses offer students the opportunity to engage in different ways with a range of arts forms. Our distinctive programme of drama, production, filmmaking and writing short study courses for adults (16+) are led by experienced tutors and industry professionals.

Audition and Interview Preparation courses give students an opportunity to learn more about audition and interview processes with expert tutors from Scotland’s national conservatoire.

All classes will challenge you to develop your skills and creativity, and offer the chance to meet like-minded people in a supportive environment.

Interdisciplinary and Extended Practice – or IXP – modules offer the opportunity for students to take part in an intensive week of study on a specified subject and learn alongside undergraduate students of RCS and complete assessments for SQCF credits.

BA Production Interview Preparation – 14th and 21st November 2026 (one and two day options, please see course page for details)
