Kirsten first found her love of performing whilst training in acting and musical theatre at the Alhambra Theatre at eleven years of age. Having been immediately drawn to dance, she took lessons in various styles at The Dance Bank in Dunfermline, under the support and encouragement of Rhona McNab and Lisa McGurk. Here, her passion was allowed to grow organically.
Kirsten started ballet training when she joined The Scottish Ballet Senior Associates programme at the age of sixteen and has since performed at with other notable programmes such as Scottish Ballet Youth Exchange and as part of Team Scotland for The Dance World Cup.
During her training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Kirsten was fortunate enough to work with companies such as Scottish Ballet and Scottish Dance Theatre. She has loved the nurturing creative environment and has withheld resounding influence from the various other arts and disciplines studied here. Kirsten would like to thank the teachers for their profound impact and support throughout her studies.
