ABRSM launches new website with the Royal Schools

ABRSM and the Royal Schools of Music launch new joint website

ABRSM and the Royal Schools of Music the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Royal Northern College of Music – have today (28 June), launched a new website to promote the United Kingdom as a destination to strengthen music education learning.

The website is primarily aimed at those interested in learning more about ABRSM and the four Royal Schools and to find out about educational opportunities at the Royal Schools of Music and ABRSM’s assessments.

Professor Jeffrey Sharkey, Principal of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, is pleased to welcome this new, international venture. He said, “This new website, developed in partnership with ABRSM, builds on the international reputation the Royal Schools have for excellence in music education. The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is recognised as one of the world’s top three performing arts education institutions and we are motivated to attract the very best musicians and performers from around the globe to study in Scotland with us.”

Michael Elliott, ABRSM’s Chief Executive, said, “We’re delighted to launch this new website with our Royal Schools partners as we share a common goal to inspire and support the next generation of musicians. The UK is recognised as a global centre of musical excellence, attracting students from all backgrounds around the world to study here. This website showcases what we have to offer to international students.”
