Garry Walker appointed Chief Conductor of the Rheinische Philharmonie

We are delighted to hear that Artistic Director of Conducting, Garry Walker, has just been appointed as the new Chief Conductor of theRheinische Philharmonie.

Garry will take up his post in the 2017/18 season, taking over fromDaniel Raiskin.

Garry has previously beenPermanent Guest Conductor of Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Principal Guest Conductor of Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Principal Conductor of Paragon Ensemble and hasa close association with Red Note Ensemble. At RCS, Garry leads the Conducting programme and mentors the Leverhulme Conducting Fellowship.
