BAFTA Scotland New Talent Awards

The BAFTAScotland new talent award nominations have been announced with several RCS students and graduates selected across the 12 categories.

Current BA Acting student Sarah Miele (pictured above) has been nominated in the Female Acting Performance category for her performance in the short film Grimm Street, with graduate Daniel Cameron (Class of 2013) nominated in the Male Acting Performance for his role in I Am Me.

The Production department were delighted to see two of their alumni recognised in the nonimations: Kevin Murray (Class of 2003) was nominated for his work on Paperclipand2015 graduate Cara Roxburghhas also been recognised for her design work in the short filmTuesday.

In the Drama category, graduate film Starfish has picked up another nomination, congratulations to DFTV graduates Louise Dawson, Dayna Baptie and Fergus Thom.

The awards take place on 14 April in Glasgow, we wish the nominees the best of luck!
