Bio:
Austin is Studying on the Masters Vocal Performance Course under the tutelage of Julian Tovey.
He is a very grateful recipient of a scholarship from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Trust. Austin also studied as an undergraduate at the Conservatoire, graduating in 2025 from the BMus Vocal Performance course.
Some of the Operatic roles Austin has performed within the RCS include: Idamante in Idomeneo; Belmonte in Die Entführung aus dem Serail; Jaquino in Fidelio; Dr Blind in Die Fledermaus; Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte.
Austin has also taken part in Dorset opera in 2024 where he performed Madama Butterfly and new commission Under the Greenwood Tree by Paul Carr.
