Emma Moran
BA Production Arts and Design Class of 2026
Bio:
Emma Moran is a Set and Costume Designer in her final year training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. With a background in Interior and Spatial Design, she brings a strong spatial awareness and a keen eye for detail to her theatrical work.
Her latest production design was Jack Thorne’s Let The Right One In, in the New Athenaeum Theatre creating a bold and conceptually driven visual world. This experience was instrumental in developing her artistic voice and deepening her understanding of storytelling through space, texture, and form. Following this production Emma designed Stef Smith’s, Nora: A Dolls House in the Chandler Theatre Venue.
Since then, she has continued to grow her practice through live projects and creative collaborations, refining her visionary and detail-oriented approach. Her work is grounded in strong conceptual thinking, with an emphasis on creating feeling based environments that serve the narrative and emotional core of a piece. Emma looks forward to taking her first professional role post-graduation, which is currently in development.
