Georgia Berry

BA Modern Ballet, Class of 2025

Born in California, Georgia began ballet at four years old. She has moved around her whole life and has attended dance schools in California, Paris, Hong Kong, New Jersey, and now Glasgow. She has enjoyed her three years in the BA Modern Ballet course and is excited for the future.

Georgia loved her time at RCS, which furthered her dance technique and artistry. She has also liked working with choreographers such as Nicholas Shoesmith, Mark Bruce, and Christopher Bruce. Georgia appreciates the performance opportunities that are given in the BA Modern Ballet program, such as the end-of-year Grad Show, Gleanagles, Piano and Dance, and Glass Pieces. She also enjoyed exploring her creative side by choreographing a piece for Glass Pieces for her classmates.

Georgia has also been lucky enough to attend ballet Summer Programs at the Royal Danish Ballet and the Finnish National Opera and Ballet. She would not have been able to achieve this without the help of her teachers.

Grateful for her training at RCS, Georgia is determined to pursue performing and choreography in a professional environment.
